Shooting on More

In A(auto) mode, macro mode (A49) and exposure compensation (A33) can be applied and pictures can be taken using flash mode (A29) and self-timer (A32). Pressing din A(auto) mode allows you to specify settings for all shooting menu items (A50) depending upon the shooting situations.

1 Press Ato display the shooting- mode selection menu.

The shooting-mode selection menu is displayed.

2Press the multi selector Hor Ito choose A and press k.

The camera enters A(auto) mode.

Raise the built-in flash when using the flash.

Set the flash mode (A29), self-timer (A32), exposure compensation (A33), and macro mode (A49) to match the shooting conditions.

Press dto display the shooting menu, and set the

items in the shooting menu to match the shooting conditions (A50).

3Frame the subject and shoot.

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.

When the camera focuses on an object in the center of the frame, you can use focus lock to focus on an off-center subject.

Be sure that the distance between the camera and the subject does not change while focus is locked.
