A(Auto) Mode

Used for general shooting. Settings can be adjusted in the shooting menu (A 63) to suit the shooting conditions and the type of picture you want to take.

Enter shooting mode MA(shooting mode) button MA(auto) mode Mkbutton

You can change how the camera selects the area of the frame to focus on by changing the AF area mode setting (A 64). The default setting is Target finding AF.

When the camera detects the main subject, it focuses on that subject.

The camera has nine focus areas, and if the camera does not detect the main subject, it automatically selects the focus area containing the subject closest to the camera.
