Modo de flash manual

La intensidad del destello del SB-30 puede ajustarse manualmente a M1/1, M1/8 o M1/32. En el modo Manual deberá obtener la exposición correcta mediante un cálculo que combina el número guía, la distancia de disparo y la abertura del objetivo.

Si el modo de exposición ajustado en la cámara no es ni Automático con prioridad a la abertura (A) ni Manual (M), según la cámara que se esté utilizando, es posible que no pueda efectuarse el disparo.

Para obtener la exposición correcta, utilice las ecuaciones siguientes para determinar la abertura y el número guía apropiados para la distancia de disparo.

f/stop (abertura) = Número guía (NG) ÷ Distancia de disparo (m/pies) Número guía (NG) = Abertura x Distancia de disparo (m/pies)

Por ejemplo, para fotografiar un sujeto a una distancia de 2,5m (8,2 pies), con una sensibilidad ISO de 400 y una abertura del objetivo de f/2,8:

Número guía = 2,8 x 2,5 = 7 (en metros) o 2,8 x 8,2 = 23 aprox. (en pies)

Por lo tanto M1/8 es la intensidad de destello correcta con el adaptador de flash ancho colocado.

Del mismo modo, para fotografiar un sujeto a una distancia de 4m, con una sensibilidad ISO de 400 y una intensidad

120 de destello de M1/1 sin utilizar el adaptador de flash ancho:

f/stop = 32 ÷ 4 = 8 (en metros) o 105 ÷ 13 = 8 aprox. (en pies). Por lo tanto, 1/8 es la abertura de objetivo correcta.
