5 Para saber cuál es la abertura adecuada, utilice la tabla “Determinación de la abertura y la gama de distancias de fotografía con flash (pág. 117) y ajuste la misma abertura en la cámara.

En el modo de flash automático no TTL, ajuste también la misma abertura en el dial selector de modo del SB-30.

6 Compruebe que el piloto de flash listo del SB-30 esté encendido y haga la foto.

Adaptador de flash ancho incorporado

El adaptador de flash ancho puede utilizarse también en otras operaciones diferentes a la fotografía de aproximación con flash.

El ángulo de cobertura del SB-30 coincide con el de un objetivo de 28mm. El adaptador de flash ancho aumenta el ángulo de cobertura para adaptarlo a un objetivo de 17mm. El número guía disminuye de 16/52 a 10/33 (100 ISO, m/pies).

Cuando se utiliza un objetivo de 17mm con el adaptador de flash ancho colocado, la distancia entre la cámara y el sujeto aumenta considerablemente del centro hacia la periferia del encuadre por lo que, en algunos casos, es posible que la zona periférica no quede suficientemente iluminada.
