5Close the SIM card holder (5), and press it to lock

it into place.

6Insert the battery. Make sure that the battery

label is facing up and the gold-colored contacts

(6) of the battery are aligned with the contact prongs inside the phone.

7Align the back cover (7) with the back of the

phone, and press it into place starting with the lower end of the phone.

• CHARGE THE BATTERY

Do not charge the battery if the phone covers are removed.

1 Connect the charger to an ac wall outlet.

2 Connect the charger plug into the connector in the phone.

The battery indicator bar starts scrolling. When the battery is fully charged, the bar stops scrolling.

3Disconnect the charger from the phone and the ac outlet.

If Not charging appears, wait for a while, disconnect the charger, reconnect it, and retry. If charging still fails, contact your dealer.
