Important: The Silent or Beep once ringing option disables any melody you may chose. To hear a ringing tone while editing a profile, make sure one of the other ringing options is selected.

1From a profile’s Customize menu, scroll to Ringing tone and press Select.

2Scroll through the options and listen. When you hear the ringing tone you want to use, press Select.

About polyphonic sound (MIDI)

Your phone is equipped with a polyphonic tone generator capable of playing up to four different voices simultaneously. The generator can reproduce over 40 different instrument tones, including drums, guitar, saxophone, flute, etc. The polyphonic sounds bring a new richness and quality to ringing tones, message alert tones, and background music and sound effects used in gaming.

Set ringing volume

You can set the default ringing volume for incoming voice calls and message alert tones. There are five different levels of volume.

1From a profile’s Customize menu, scroll to Ringing volume and press Select.

2Scroll to an option and listen. When you hear the ringing volume you wish to use, press Select.

Set a vibrating alert

Your phone has the ability to vibrate, indicating an incoming call (in addition to playing a ringing tone). Enabling a vibrating alert while selecting the Silent ringing option causes your phone only to vibrate on incoming call.

1From the selected profile’s Customize menu, scroll to Vibrating alert and press Select.

2Scroll to On and press Select.
