Messages (Menu 2)

Forward to no.—Forward the message to another number. Forward to e-mail—Forward the message to an e-mail address.

Edit—Edit the message. You can only edit messages that you have written. Message details—View the message subject, size, and class.

Play—Listen to a sound clip in the message, if one is included. Save tone—Save a ringing tone, if included, to the Gallery menu. Zoom in—Enlarge the picture.

Save image—Save any picture that is attached to your picture gallery.

•DISTRIBUTION LISTS

You can send a text message to multiple recipients at one time. First, you must create a distribution list using the entries in your contacts list.

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Distribution Lists.

2Select Options > Add list.

3Enter the name of the list and press OK.

4With the list highlighted, select Options > View list > Add contact.

5Highlight the contact you want to add to the distribution list and press Select.

6Highlight the phone number you want to add and press Select. Repeat steps 4–6 to add additional contacts to the distribution list.

Send a message

To send a message to all contacts in a distribution list:

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Create text message > Add list.

2Highlight the distribution list you are sending to and press OK.

3Press Options > Enter text.

4Compose a message using the keypad and press Options > Send. The message is sent to all recipients in that distribution list.

Options

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Distribution lists.

2Highlight a distribution list and select Options.

3Scroll to an option and press Select to enter the submenu: Add list—Create a distribution list using your contacts list.

View list—View the list of contacts or numbers in a distribution list that you have created.
