All messages in a folder

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Delete messages > All, All read, All unread, Inbox, Sent items, or Archive.

2Scroll to the folder containing the messages you wish to delete and press Select.

Important: If you select All read (or All unread), it deletes any messages which have been read (or unread) in all of the folders. If you select All, all of the messages in all of the folders are deleted.

3 Press OK to empty the folder.

VOICE MESSAGES

If you subscribe to voice mail, your wireless provider will furnish you with a voicemail number. When you receive a voicemail message, your phone lets you know by beeping, displaying a message, or both. If you receive more than one message, your phone shows the number of voicemail messages received.

Save voicemail number

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox number.

After a brief pause, the Mailbox number screen appears in the display.

2If the box is empty, enter the voicemail area code and number.

Your wireless provider may have already saved your voicemail number to your phone. If so, the number will appear in the display. Press OK to leave the number unchanged.

3Press OK.

Call and setup your voice mail

1Once you have saved the voicemail number, press and hold the 1 key.

2When you connect to voice mail and the prerecorded greeting begins, follow the service’s automated instructions to setup your voice mail.
