Settings (Menu 7)

At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Time settings > Auto update of date & time > On, Confirm first, or Off.

If you use the Auto update of date & time option while outside your digital network, you may be prompted to enter the time manually. Network time will replace the time and date when you re-enter your digital network.

If your battery has been removed or has drained outside the digital network, you may be prompted to enter the time manually (once the battery is replaced/recharged, and you are still outside of the digital network).

TONE SETTINGS

From this menu, you can adjust the ringing volume, keypad tones, and other tone settings for the currently active profile. See “Profiles (Menu 6)” on page 49 for more information on Profile settings.

PHONE DETAILS

The Phone details menu stores important information about your phone and network.

1At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Phone details.

2Highlight one of the following submenus and press Select to view more information:

User details—View the Own number (MDN) and Mobile station ID number (MSID) stored in your phone.

Version details—View the Phone model, Software version, Browser version, and Hardware version of your phone.

System details—View the System ID (SID), Channel, Preferred roaming list (PRL), Mode, and Frequency of your network.

GAME SETTINGS

The game settings menu allows you to control the sounds, lights, and vibrating effects of the games on your phone.

1At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Game settings.

2Select one of the following game submenus: Game sounds—SelectOn or Off.

Game lights—SelectApp. defined or Default.

Shakes—Shakes are the vibrating effects of your phone when playing a game. Select On or Off.
