You can also go to almost any feature, option, or submenu directly from the start screen using a “shortcut.”

Select Menu; then within 3 seconds, press the key or keys associated with the menu function you would like to view or activate.

For example, to turn on the Alarm clock, press Menu 4-1-1(Menu >

Settings > Alarm clock > On).

A complete list of shortcuts begins on page 24. Some features may not appear, depending on service availability, or may require subscription to the feature in question. In such cases, the phone displays an error message. If you wish to subscribe to a feature that is currently disabled, contact your wireless provider.
