Viewing Multiple Pictures: Thumbnail Playback

Pressing t (j) in full-frame playback (c 22) to			15/05/2007	30	M
display pictures in “contact sheets” of thumbnail
images. The following operations can be performed
while thumbnails are displayed:
To	Press	Description			c

Choose pictures			Press the multi selector G, H, I, or J to	8
			choose pictures.
Change number			When t (j) is pressed, display picture
			thumbnails in the following order:	–
of pictures dis-	W	T	4 → 9 → 16
played			When v (k) is pressed, the number of
			thumbnails changes reversely.
Cancel thumb-	d		Cancel thumbnail playback and return to full-	–
nail playback			frame playback.
D-Lighting	A		Press Ato enhance brightness and contrast	45
			in dark portions of pictures.

Switch to shoot-	or		Press i or the shutter-release button to	22

k4- or 9-picture Thumbnail Playback Mode Display

When protected pictures and pictures selected for transfer are displayed in 4- or 9- picture thumbnail playback mode, the icons shown at right are displayed with them. Mov- ies are displayed as film frames. Icons are not displayed with protected pictures or pictures selected for transfer in 16-picture thumbnail playback modes.
