Appendix A

Printing on Speciality Media

Envelopes

Envelopes should be loaded with the flap facing the front of the printer (the side to be printed facing the Paper Tray).

Note: For best results use short-flap, side-seam envelopes.

To load envelopes:

1. Remove any print media from the Paper Tray.

2.Remove the Paper Output Shelf and flip up the Envelope Feed Guide.

3.Place the envelopes against the Feed Guide, then move the Paper Guide Lever over to touch the right edge of the envelopes.

4.Replace the Paper Output Shelf.

Note: Make sure you have envelopes selected as the print media in your software or in the printer driver.
