This function allows you to take a rapid succession of still pictures by pressing and holding the shutter button (over 5 pictures at 1.1 frames per second in HQ mode). As you can choose the best picture from a series of sequential shots, you are recommended to use this mode when taking a moving subject. You can also erase the unwanted shots afterwards.

Press the shutter button fully and keep it pressed. The camera will take pictures in sequence until you release the button.
• The sequential shooting mode is canceled when the lens barrier is
closed. “Saving the settings (All Reset)” ( p.85)
•During sequential shooting, the flash is displayed.
•Since the shutter speed is set to 1/30 sec. max., exposure is decreased when shooting a dark subject to prevent camera shake.
•The number of pictures that can be shot in succession and the sequential shooting speed vary depending on the subject, the record mode, and the amount of space available on the card.
It takes longer than usual to store pictures after sequential shooting.
