aON/STANDBY button (38)

Sets the AV receiver to On or Standby.

bSTANDBY indicator (38)

Lights up when the AV receiver is on Standby and flashes while a signal is being received from the remote controller.

cSPEAKERS A & B buttons (18, 44)

Turn speaker sets A and B on or off.

dRemote control sensor (17)

This sensor receives control signals from the remote controller.

e–, + and TONE buttons (46)

Used to adjust the tone (bass and treble).

fDisplay

See “Display” on page 11.

gMOVIE/TV button (64)

Selects the listening modes intended for use with movies and TV.

hMUSIC button (64)

Selects the listening modes intended for use with music.

iGAME button (64)

Selects the listening modes intended for use with video games.

jDIMMER button (45)

Adjusts the display brightness.

kMEMORY button (51)

Used when storing or deleting radio presets.

lTUNING MODE button (49)

Selects the Auto or Manual tuning mode for AM and FM radio.

mDISPLAY button (46, 50)

Displays various information about the currently selected input source.

nSETUP button

Opens and closes the setup menus.

oTUNING, PRESET, Arrow, and ENTER buttons

When AM or FM is selected, the TUNING [q]/[w] buttons are used for radio tuning, and the PRESET [e]/[r] buttons are used to select radio presets (see page 51). With the setup menus, they work as arrow buttons and are used to select and set items. The [ENTER] button is also used with the setup menus.
