m Night Portrait Assist

m (night portrait assist) mode is used for taking portrait shots at night, when it provides a natural balance between the main subject and the background. Pictures taken at slow shutter speeds are adjusted to improve quality, slightly in- creasing processing time; to prevent blurring, mount the camera on a tripod or rest it on a flat, stable surface. For more information on framing assist options, see "iPortrait Assist" (Q 30).
