By default, the remote controller is set to control an Onkyo CD player.

To select the input source, press:

ASTANDBY/ON button

Sets the component to On or Standby.

BNumber buttons

Used to enter track numbers and times for locating specific points on CD/MD players.

CDISC/ALBUM +/– button

Selects discs on a CD changer, or the next or previ- ous album on an HDD-compatible component con- nected to an RI Dock.

DTOP MENU button

Works as a Mode button when used with the DS-A1X RI Dock.

EArrow []/[] and ENTER buttons

Used to navigate menus on an HDD-compatible component connected to the RI Dock.

FPlayback buttons

From left to right: Pause, Play, Stop, Fast Reverse, Fast Forward, Previous and Next.

GDISPLAY button

Displays information about the current disc or track on a CD player or MD/CD recorder, including elapsed time, remaining time, total time, and so on. On an HDD-compatible component connected to the RI Dock, it turns on the back light for 30 sec- onds.

HCLR button

Cancels functions and clears entered numbers on a CD player or MD/CD recorder.

IMENU button

Used to navigate menus on an HDD-compatible component connected to the RI Dock.

JPLAYLIST []/[] buttons

Selects the previous or next playlist on an HDD- compatible component connected to the RI Dock.

KRANDOM button

Used with the random/shuffle playback function.

LREPEAT button

Used with the repeat playback functions.

MPLAY MODE button

Used to select play modes on components with selectable play modes.

Works as a Resume button when used with a DS-A1X RI Dock.
