Even if your recording source is not Onkyo -compatible,
1 Press the INPUT button repeatedly until “Digital In 1,” “Digital In 2,” or “Analog In” appears.
•You can perform signal synchro recording with both digital and analog recording sources.

2 Select a recording mode.Refer to Step 4 on page 22.

When the time indicator lights up on the display, press the REC button again. “Signal Rec” appears.
REC
The recorder now waits for the input signal, and displays the “Signal Wait” message and the time indicator alternately.
Note
If no signal is input for approx .30 seconds, the MD recorder will enter recording standby mode.
Recording starts as soon as the unit receives signals from the recording source while “Signal Wait” is displayed.
