This button is used to set the DV-SP404/DV- SP404E to Standby.

BON button [23]

This button is used to return to the main menu with- out saving your changes.

GAUDIO button [38]

This button is used to turn on the DV-SP404/DV- SP404E.

Don’t turn on the DV-SP404/DV-SP404E until you’ve completed, and double checked all connec- tions (pages 17–22).

CNumber buttons [27–28, 37, 46]

These buttons are used to enter title, chapter, and track numbers and to enter times for locating spe- cific points in time.

DTOP MENU button [28]

This button is used to display the top menu on a DVD-Video disc.

E Cursor / // buttons [24]

These buttons are used to navigate onscreen menus.

This button is used to select foreign language soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS) on DVD-Video discs.

For Video CDs you can select left-channel, right- channel, or stereo.

HANGLE button [39]

This button is used to select camera angles on DVD-Video discs.

IStop button [27]

This button is used to stop playback.

JFast Reverse /() button [27, 30, 31]

This button is used for fast reverse, reverse slow motion, and reverse frame-by-frame playback.
