Keep the keyboard dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic circuits.
Use and store the keyboard only in normal temperature environments. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices, dam- age batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts.
Keep the keyboard away from dust and dirt, which can cause prema- ture wear of parts.
Handle the keyboard gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage cir- cuit boards and cases and can cause the keyboard to work improperly.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. Batteries can leak chemicals that damage your keyboard’s electronic parts.
Wipe the keyboard with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong deter- gents to clean the keyboard.
Modifying or tampering with the keyboard’s internal components can cause a mal- function and might invalidate its warranty. If your keyboard is not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
