PREPARATION

CONNECTING POWER
You can power your
•internal batteries (see “Using Batter- ies”)
•standard AC power using an optional AC adapter (see “Using AC Power” on Page 8)
Notes:
•Connecting an AC adapter automat- ically disconnects internal batteries.
•Always disconnect the adapter when you finish using the
Using Batteries
Your
Cautions:
•Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
•If you do not plan to use the MD- 1150 with batteries for a week or more, or if you will be using only AC power, remove the batteries.
•Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (stan- dard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
