Getting Started

You can verify your IMEI number by dialling *#06# on your mobile phone.

If your phone is lost or stolen:

Notify your network carrier and the police immediately. Tell them your IMEI number and any other identifying features on your phone. Your network carrier can use this number to block your phone from all networks

in Australia once you report the phone lost or stolen, making it useless to any thief. Importantly, this also ensures you’re not paying for any calls made by the thief. If the handset is subsequently found, the IMEI block can be easily removed – as long as you can prove you’re the original, legal owner of the phone.

Passwords

This mobile phone provides the option of using passwords. After activating the passwords, unauthorised users cannot access the data stored on the phone. If the option is activated, access to certain functions, e.g. the phone book, is only possible after entering the correct password.
