Pollo A La Cazadora

2 cucharadas de aceite vegetal

13 taza de pimiento verde

3 a 4 piezas de pollo

1 lata (4 onzas) de champiñones

(muslo, pierna, o pechugas en mitades)

en rodajas escurridos

13 taza de cebolla picada

1 cucharadita de aderezo italiano

1 hoja de laurel

Sal y pimienta negra molida al gusto

1 diente de ajo, picado

Espagueti caliente cocinado u

1 lata (14 ½ onzas) de tomates

otra pasta

y picados pelados

 

Fije la temperatura del sartén en 350° F. Agregue el aceite. Coloque las piezas de pollo, con la piel sobre el sartén. Cocine el pollo hasta que esté dorado en el primer lado, unos 5 minutos. Voltee el pollo. Agregue la cebolla y el ajo alrededor del pollo. Cocine por 3 minutos, o hasta que la cebolla esté cocinada pero no dorada. Reduzca la temperatura a “WARM” (tibio). Agregue los ingredientes restantes, excepto el espagueti. Cubra y cocine por 30 a 40 minutos, o hasta que el pollo esté cocinado. Revuelva la salsa y vierta sobre el pollo ocasionalmente. Sirva el pollo y la salsa sobre el espagueti u otra pasta

Salteado De Carne Y Brócoli

½ a ¾-lb. de punta de res o lomo

¼ cucharadita de azúcar

1 diente de ajo, picado

Sal al gusto

Una pizca de jengibre molido

2 cucharadas de aceite de

2 cucharadas de salsa soya, dividida

ajonjolí o maní

2 cucharadas de jerez seco, dividido

¾ taza de ramitos de brócoli

½ taza de caldo de carne

1 a 2 zanahorias medianas,

½ cebolla, en trozos delgados

en rodajas al sesgo

1½ cucharadita de maicena

Arroz cocinado caliente

Corte la carne en rodajas bien delgadas y coloque en un tazón de vidrio. (Congele parcialmente la carne por 30 a 60 minutos para que sea más fácil de cortar.) Agregue ajo, jengibre, 1 cucharada de salsa soya y 1 cucharada de jerez. Vierta por encima para cubrir. Deje que la carne repose a temperatura ambiente por 30 minutos.

Combine la salsa soya restante y el jerez con el caldo, la maicena, el azúcar y la sal, coloque a un lado. Fije la temperatura del sartén en 350° F. Agregue aceite y caliente por 1 minuto. Escurra la carne, deseche el adobo y agregue la carne al sartén. Sofría por 7 a 9 minutos o hasta que la carne esté cocinada. Saque la carne y mantenga tibia. Agregue los vegetales. Cubra y cocine por 3 minutos o hasta que los vegetales estén crujientes y suaves. Revuelva a la mitad de la cocción. Reduzca la temperatura a 250° F. Agregue la carne y mezcle con los vegetales. Agregue la mezcla del caldo y revuelva, luego vierta sobre la carne y los vegetales. Caliente, revolviendo hasta que el caldo esté caliente y espeso. Sirva sobre el arroz.
