Chapter 1 Getting Started with Palm™ VersaMail™ Personal E-mail Software

7. Be sure that the handheld is in the cradle and that the cable is properly attached

to your computer, and then click Finish.

8. Follow the onscreen instructions for performing an initial HotSync® operation.

The HotSync operation updates the VersaMail application files on your

handheld.

9. Tap Reset.

10. Press the VersaMail button on your handheld.

11. Tap Yes to update the files on your handheld.

NOTE You cannot continue using the VersaMail application until you tap Yes.
