Operations Basic

Use the setup menus to change the settings to suit the scenes you are shooting or what you are recording.

Using the menus

•The menu items indicated in the gray characters cannot be changed its settings.

1 When the unit is in other than playback or recording mode, press the MENU button. The following is displayed on the viewfinder.

•Press and hold the MENU button when set to PB mode (thumbnail display) of DV mode.

3 Select the item you want to set with the up or down button of the cursor button, and press the ENTER button.

•To return to a previous screen, press the left button of the cursor button.

4 Select the up or down button on the cursor button to set numerical values, and press the ENTER button.

•To change numerical values, press the up, down, left or right button on the cursor button to change the values.

•To return to a previous screen, press the left button on the cursor button.

5 Repeat steps 3 – 4 to set any other items.

To complete settings, select EXIT and press the ENTER or the MENU button.

6 Repeat steps 2 – 4 to set any other functions.

To complete settings, select EXIT and press the ENTER or the MENU button.

2 Select the function you want to set with the up or down button of the cursor button, and press the ENTER button.
