Phase synchronization from the editing controller is no longer
possible once this item has been set to “0”.
For DV format:
When using the dial on the front panel, playback is always
performed at – 0.5 to +1× normal speed regardless of the
menu setting.
When using the 9P:
When 0 is selected, playback is performed at 0.5 to +1×
normal speed.
When 1 is selected, playback is performed at 3.1 to +3.1×
normal speed.
