Setting the connection destination port number

Set this when the remote camera needs to be identified by a port number such as when connecting via a router.

zzThe connection destination port number of the switcher cannot be set.

1. Open PORT NO menu [40] and turn the F1 dial to display

the camera number for which you want to change the setting.

2.Turn the F2 dial to select a value, and then press the F2 dial to confirm the selection.

zzThis is set to “80” by default for all of the camera numbers CAM1 to CAM100.

When you enter a value that cannot be set, the following message appears and the port number is not set.

You can set a value within the range of 1 to 65535.

However, the following values cannot be set even though they are within this range.

20, 21, 23, 25, 42, 53, 67, 68, 69, 110, 123, 161, 162, 995, 10669, 10670

Manually setting the connection destination IP address (switcher)

Use the following procedure to manually set the link settings for the unit and switcher.

1.Open SW SETUP menu [41] and turn the F1 dial to display the “2. SW IP ADDRESS” item.

2.SW IP ADDRESS

192.168.000.008

zzThis is set to “192.168.000.008” by default.

2.Use the F2 dial to set the IP address for the connection destination.

Enter this in four blocks of numerals.

Enter all of the blocks and then press the F2 dial to confirm the IP address.

Initializing the connection destination IP addresses set on the unit

Use the following procedure to initialize the connection types and connection destination IP addresses set on the unit.

1.Open AUTO IP menu [37] and turn the F2 dial to display “ALL CLEAR”.

2.Press the F2 dial to execute initialization.

The settings for connecting with the remote cameras and switcher are initialized.

zzWhen the connection type is set to “Network”, it is changed to “NoAsign”.

When the connection type is set to “Serial”, it is not changed. zzIf the IP address of the unit in RP SETUP menu [25] is

changed, the connection destination IP addresses are changed automatically.

IP addresses after the IP address of the unit are set for the camera numbers in ascending order.

The value immediately before the IP address of the unit is set as the connection destination IP address of the switcher.
