Advanced (Playback)

•If there are 1000 or more pictures, you can make a slide show with up to 999 pictures.

3 Press 2 to return to the category playback screen.

•Press [ ] and then press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

•You cannot play back motion pictures as a slide show.

•Still pictures created from a motion picture (P74) cannot be played back from the

motion pictures category in category playback.

[ROTATE DISP.]/[ROTATE]

To display the picture rotated

Press [ MENU/SET ] to display the [PLAY] mode menu and select the item to set. (P76) This mode allows you to automatically display pictures vertically if they were recorded holding the camera vertically or rotate pictures manually in 90° steps.

∫Rotate display

(The picture is automatically rotated and displayed.)

1 Press 4 to select [ON] and then press [MENU/SET].

MENU /SET

•The pictures are displayed without being rotated when you select [OFF].

•Refer to P32 for information about how to play back pictures.

2 Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

∫Rotate

(The picture is rotated manually.)

1 Press 2/1 to select the picture and then press 4.

•The [ROTATE] function is disabled when [ROTATE DISP.] is set to [OFF].

•Motion pictures and protected pictures cannot be rotated.

2 Press 3/4 to select the direction to rotate the picture and then press [MENU/SET].

MENU /SET

The picture rotates clockwise in steps of 90°.

The picture rotates counter-clockwise in steps of 90°.

3 Press [MENU/SET] twice to close the menu.
