Playing Back Pictures on a TV Screen

Playing back pictures using the AV cable (optional)

Preparations:

Set the [TV ASPECT]. (P23)

Turn this unit and the TV off.

Do not use any other cables except a genuine Panasonic AV cable (DMW-AVC1: optional).

1Yellow: to the video input socket

2 White: to the audio input socket A Align the marks, and insert.

• Check the directions of the connectors, and plug them straight in or unplug them straight out. (Otherwise the connectors may be bent out of shape which will cause trouble.)

1Connect the AV cable B (optional) to the video input and the audio input sockets on the TV.

2Connect the AV cable to the [AV OUT/DIGITAL] socket on the camera.

3Turn the TV on and select external input.

4Turn the camera on and playback the picture.

Note

Depending on the [PICTURE SIZE], black bands may be displayed on the top and bottom or the left and right of the pictures.

Read the operating instructions for the TV.

When you play back a picture vertically, it may be blurry.

You can play back pictures on a TV even when the recording/playback switch is at [1].

Playing back pictures on a TV with an SD Memory Card slot

Still pictures recorded on an SD Memory Card can be played back on a TV with an SD Memory Card slot.

Note

Depending on the TV model, some pictures may not take up the whole screen.

You cannot play motion pictures. To play back motion pictures, connect the camera to the TV with the AV cable (optional).

You cannot play back pictures on SDHC cards if the TV does not support these cards.

You may be unable to play MultiMedia Cards.
