Setting the Menu
The camera comes wit h me nu s that allow you to choos e the settings for taking pict ur e s
and playing them back just as you like and menus that enable you to have more fun with
the camera and us e it more easily.
In particular, the [SETUP] menu contai ns some important settings re lating to the camera’s
clock and power. Ch eck the settings o f this menu befor e proceeding to us e the camera.
Here, the method for ma king se t ting s in th e no rmal pic tur e mo de is descr i be d, but se tti ng s
can be made in a similar way on the playback menu, the setup menu etc.
Example: Setting [AF MODE] from [Ø] to [š] in the Normal Picture Mode
Setting menu items
Turn the camera on.
A[MENU/SET] button
B[REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector switch
CMode dial
Slide the [REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector
switch to [!].
•When selecting the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu
settings, set the [REC]/ [PLA YB ACK] se lecto r sw itch t o
[(], and proceed to step 4.
Set the mode dial to [·].
Press [MENU/SET] to display the menu.
•You can switch menu screens fro m any menu item by
rotating the zoom lever.
