Mode switching
Selecting the [REC] Mode
When the [REC] Mode is s elected, the camera c an be set to the Intellig ent Auto Mode in
which the optimal set tings are established in line with the subjec t to be recorded and th e
recording conditions, or to the Scene Mode which enable s you to take pictures that match
the scene being rec orded.

Turn the camera on.

A[REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector switch
BMode dial

Slide the [REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector

switch to [!].

Switching the mode by rotating the mode

dial.

Align a desired mode wi th part C.
•Rotate the mode dial slowly and su r e ly to adjust to each mode.
¦Intelligent Auto Mode
The subjects are reco rded using settings automatically selected by the camera.
!Normal Picture Mode
The subjects are recorded using your own settings.
My Scene Mode
Pictures are ta ken using previou sly registered recording scen es.
ÛScene Mode
This allows yo u to take pictures that match the s cene being rec orded.
$Motion Picture Mode
This mode allows you to record motion pictur es with audio.
ìClipboard Mode
Record as a memo.
