∫Changing the connection method

When connecting with [Via Network]:

(On the camera)

1Press 3/4 to select [Via Network], and then press [MENU/SET].

•Follow the connection procedure described on P144 to connect the camera to a wireless

access point.

(On your smartphone/tablet)

2Turn on the Wi-Fi function.

3Connect the smartphone/tablet to the wireless access point to which the camera is

connected.

4Start “Ima ge App”. (P125)

When connecting with [WPS Connection]¢ in [Direct]:

(On the camera)

1Press 3/4 to select [Direct], and then press [MENU/SET].

•Follow the connection procedure described on P146 to connect the camera to the smartphone/

tablet.

2Start “Ima ge App”. (P125)

¢WPS is a function that allows you to easily set up a connection with a wireless LAN device and

make security-related settings. To check whether your smartphone/tablet supports the function,

refer to the operating instructions of the smartphone/tablet.

∫Terminating the connection

After use, terminate the connection to the smartphone/tablet. Once turning off the

connection, you can perform normal recording and playback.

2On the smartphone/tablet, close “Image App”.

To change the connection method,

press [DISP.], and then select the

connection method.

On the screen of “Image App”, press the home button to close the app.
