Sub-Addressed Transmission Using Manual Dialling

To enter a sub-address directly from the Keypad, follow the steps below.

zThis function is not available when the Function Parameter “136 Restrict Direct Dial” (Fax/Email Settings > Fax Parameters) is set to “Valid”.

zThis feature does not work when dialling from the external telephone. Refer to Talking to the Remote Party Before Transmission (see page 29).

zIf you use sub-addressed transmission frequently, the sub-address can be pre-programmed into the Address Book to facilitate future communications. For additional details, refer to Adding a Fax Number into the Address Book (see page 173).
