Setting Other Options

Within the Other Option menu, you can program the following:

•Change Handset PIN (hspin change). The factory pre-set is 0000.

•Set Auto Talk ON/OFF (auto talk).

The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit without pressing O. If you want to use this feature, turn the feature ON. The factory preset is OFF. In order to view caller’s phone number before answering a call, leave the Auto Talk feature OFF.

•Select Battery Type (battery type).

Two Nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries are included with this unit. Ensure that the battery selection is set to Ni-MH, or the battery strength will not be displayed correctly.
