Intercom calls can be made between
handsets.
Note:
RWhen paging the handset, the paged
handset beeps for 1 minute.
RIf you receive an outside call while talking
on the intercom, you hear 2 tones. To
answer the call, press MN, then press
M N.
Making an intercom call
1MN
2MbN: “Intercom” a M N
3To page a specific handset, enter the
handset number.
RTo stop paging, press MN.
4When you finish talking, press MN.
Answering an intercom call
1Press MN to answer the page.
2When you finish talking, press MN.
Handset locator
You can locate a misplaced handset by
paging it.
1Base unit: Press MN.
RAll registered handsets beep for 1
minute.
2To stop paging:
Base unit: Press MN.
Handset: Press M N.
Transferring calls,conference calls
Available for:
KX-TG2722
Outside calls can be transferred or a
conference call with an outside party can be
made between 2 handsets.
1During an outside call, press MN.
2MbN: “Intercom” a MN
R flashes to indicate the outside call
is on hold.
3Enter the desired handset number you
want to transfer to.
4Wait for the paged party to answer.
RIf the paged party does not answer,
press MN to return to the outside call.
5To complete the transfer:
Press MN.
RThe outside call is being routed to the
destination unit.
To establish a conference call:
Press 3.
RTo leave the conference, press
MN. The other 2 parties can
continue the conversation.
RTo put the outside call on hold, press
MN. a MbN: “Hold” a
MN
To resume the conference, press 3.
Answering a transferred call
Press MN to answer the page.
