„Caution for Timer recording

Timer recording automatically starts at the set time.

•Timer recording can be started whether the unit is turned on or off. When the unit is turned off, the sound and the video cannot be outputted to the TV.

Preparation

• Release protection before proceeding:

•Press and hold Ÿź to alter the Start (Start time) and Stop (Finish time) in 30-minute increments.

•You can also set CHANNEL (Program Position), DATE (See below), ON (Start time), and OFF (Finish time) with the NUMBER keys.

•You can also press REC MODE to change the recording mode.

•Insert a disc (p. 40) and confirm there is sufficient empty space for recording on it (p. 41).

You can enter up to 16 programs up to a month in advance. (Each daily or weekly program is counted as one program.)

• When connecting a cable TV box or satellite receiver, select the channel
