Listening to Music (Music Play) (Cont.)
During playback, the date is not displayed.
MP3 is the abbreviation for MPEG1 Audio Layer3.
Normal MP3 files cannot be played back. Use the data created with
Panasonic Media Manager.
Some MP3 or MPEG2-AAC files which were written with Panasonic
Media Manager may not be played back.
The bit rates (recommended) supported are 64 kbps, 96 kpbs or 128
kbps for both the MPEG2-AAC and MP3 files.
The WMA data cannot be played back.
Using the Earphone
Since there is no internal speaker, the supplied earphone must be used
when hearing the sound or making volume adjustment.
1Plug the earphone terminal into the [ ] jack.
If the voice sound is checked with the Earphone on while recording, the
volume adjustment function is invalid.
Adjusting the Volume
Adjusts the playback audio level for moving picture files, music files, and
voice files.
1While playing back, press the [MODE/ VOL] Button.
The [Volume] indication appears 1.
2Move the Jog Lever up to increase the audio level or

down to decrease it.

3Press the [MODE/VOL] Button.
The [Volume] indication disappears.
If the [MODE/VOL] Button or the Jog Lever is left unoperated for
five seconds, the [Volume] indication will automatically disappear.
