When you press the shutter release button halfway, AE adjustment and AE Lock are performed.

Autofocusing and focus lock are also performed.

Recording starts.

In C (Movie) or c(Time-Lapse Movie) mode, you can record continuously up to 25 minutes.

In d(High Speed Movie) mode, you can record continuously up to 15 seconds.

Saving a still picture during movie recording

If you press the 4button during movie recording, a still picture is captured at the moment you pressed the button (up to three still pictures per each continuous movie recording, with the focus fixed at the start of recording and the number of recorded pixels fixed to E). The captured still picture will be saved when the movie recording is stopped.

The angle of view may change, depending on the number of recorded pixels for movies.

The image may be distorted, depending on recording conditions.
