How to Change Function Settings

Function settings of the camera can be changed using the direct keys, menus or control panel.

This section explains the basic ways to change function settings.

Using the Direct Keys

In capture mode, you can set Drive Mode, Sensitivity, Flash Mode and Focus Mode by pressing the four-way controller (2345). (p.63) Below, how to set Focus Mode is explained as an example.

1 Press the four-way controller (5) in capture mode.

The Focus Mode setting screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (45)	Standard

Press the 4button.

The camera is ready to take a picture.
