Taking Pictures of Your Pet (Pet Mode)

In e (Pet) mode, the camera automatically releases the shutter when the pet is detected. Also the camera can register pets.

1 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select efrom the Scene Mode Palette with the procedure on p.70.

2 Press the 4button, and then press the Mbutton.

	The camera enters e mode, and is set to
	capture status.
	When the camera detects the pet’s full face,	Selection / Registry	38

	shutter is automatically released.

To Register the Pet

1 Press the 4button on the capture status screen in e mode.

The pet selection screen appears.

2 Press the Mbutton.

The pet registration screen appears. Aiming the camera at the pet’s full face automatically releases the shutter and the pet registration confirmation dialog appears.

When you select [Registry] using four-way controller (23) and press the 4button, the picture of the registered pet is indicated on the upper-left corner of the display and the camera returns to capture status.

If pet face turns to camera front, it's self-registering
