In the [White Balance] screen, use the four-way controller (23) to select K.
To Set the White Balance ManuallyHave a blank sheet of white paper or similar material ready.

2 Point the camera at the blank sheet of paper or other material so that it fills the frame displayed in the center of the screen.

3 Press the shutter release button fully. The white balance is automatically adjusted.

4 Press the 4button.

The setting is saved and the [ARec. Mode] menu reappears.Setting the AE Metering

You can set the area of the screen where the brightness is metered to determine the exposure.

L Multi-segment

The camera divides the image into 256 areas, meters the

brightness and determines the exposure.

 

The camera takes a reading of the overall brightness of the M Center-weighted image with the center of the image having more influence on

the exposure.

N Spot

The camera determines the exposure by metering the

brightness only at the center of the image.

 

1 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [AEMetering] in the [A Rec. Mode] menu.

2 Press the four-way controller (5).

A pull-down menu appears.

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select a metering method.

4 Press the 4button.

The setting is saved.
