5 Use the four-way controller (45) to select O(On) or P (Off).

6 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Bright/Dark area].

7 Use the four-way controller (45) to select O(On) or P (Off).

8 Press the 3button twice.

The Digital Preview function is assigned to the gbutton.

The camera returns to the status screen and is ready to take a picture.

9 Focus on the subject, then compose the picture in the viewfinder and press the gbutton.

The icon () appears in the monitor during preview and you can check the composition, exposure and focus.

Press the shutter release button halfway to end Digital Preview and start focusing.

•The maximum display time for Digital Preview is 60 seconds.

•You can magnify the image during Digital Preview with the e-dial. (p.167)
