Initial Setting

After purchasing the camera, before using it for the first time set the language, date and time.

Setting the Display Language

You can choose the language in which the menus, error messages, etc. are displayed from the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Korean, Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Japanese.

1	Turn the camera on.	Initial Setting
2	Use the four-way controller (45)	City	NYC
	to choose the display language.		English
		DST
3	The default setting is English.
	Press four-way controller (3).	MENU Exit	OK OK
	The frame moves to [City].

4 Use four-way controller (45) to choose the desired city. 5 Press four-way controller (3).

The frame moves to [DST] (Daylight Saving Time).

6 Use four-way controller (45) to select O (On) or

P(Off).

7 Press the OK button.

The Date Adjust screen appears (see next page). Continue with the date settings.
