1)Tapa de la caja: La tapa se cierra con un chasquido sobre el hueco del filtro en la caja, para impedir que las mascotas lleguen al filtro de carbón.

2)Caja: aquí el agua se bombea por la caja efectuando un ciclo por el filtro de carbón y saliendo por el pico, creando una caída de agua de doce centímetros y medio a la taza.

3)Filtro reemplazable de carbón: es un filtro de carbón de 3 capas con carbón granulado hecho de cáscaras de coco. A medida que el agua pasa por el mismo, el filtro absorbe sabores y olores desagradables y ayuda a mantener el agua fresca y más apetecible para las mascotas. El filtro debe reemplazarse cada 2 a

4 semanas.

4)Prefiltro: una pequeña rejilla que atrapará partículas grandes como pelo y trocitos de alimentos antes de que lleguen al filtro. El prefiltro puede quitarse jalando del reborde en la parte superior. Para volverlo a colocar, deslícelo hasta que vuelva a quedar en su lugar sobre el botón de control del caudal y presione hacia abajo hasta que se ajuste alrededor del botón.

5)Taza: la taza de Drinkwell® es la base de la fuente. Está dotada de dos manijas de cada lado de la fuente además de una “canaleta para el cordón” que esconde el cordón.

6)Botón de control del caudal: Botón negro que se fija al motor y ajustará la velocidad del caudal de agua. El prefiltro se ajustará al cuello del botón de control del caudal, que quedará trabada en su lugar. El botón está sujeto al motor y puede quitarse desensamblando el motor.

7)Motor o Bomba: una pequeña bomba sumergible de acuario que puede desmontarse para la limpieza. ¡LA BOMBA NO DEBE COLOCARSE EN EL LAVAPLATOS! Retire la bomba de la fuente antes de limpiarla. El cordón de la bomba tiene también un enchufe removible para facilitar la fijación.
