Automatically switch the TV on (on

timer)

You can switch the TV to a spe cified channel
at a specified time, fr om standby or power-o n
mode.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [On timer].
3 Press to enter the [On timer] menu.
• [Activate]: Selec ts how often the TV
is switched on.
• [Time]: Sets the time to swi tch on
the TV.
• [Programme no.]: Selects the
channel or the connec ted device.
4 Press MENU to exit.
Tip
Select • [O n timer] > [Activ ate] > [Off] to
disable this feature.
Use timers
You can set timers to switch the TV to standby
at a specified time.

Automatically switch the TV to

standby (sleep timer)

Sleep timer swi tches the TV to standby af ter a
pre-defined pe riod of time.
Tip
You can switch off your T V earlier or reset t he •
sleep timer dur ing the countdown.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Sleep timer].
The »[Sleep timer] menu appears.
3 Press to select a value bet ween zero
and 180 minutes.
The sleep timer can be set in steps of »
five minutes. If set to zero, the sleep
timer is switched off.
4 Press OK to swi tch on the sleep timer.
The TV switches to standby after the »
specified time.
