Disposal of your old product and batteries
Your product is designed a nd manufactured
with high quality materials and components,
which can be recycle d and reused.
When this crossed -out wheeled bin sym bol
is attached to a pro duct it means that the
product is covered by t he European Directi ve
2002/96/EC. P lease inform yourself a bout the
local separate col lection system for e lectrical
and electronic products.
Please act accordi ng to your local rules and
do not dispose of your old prod ucts with your
normal household waste.
Correct dispo sal of your old product helps t o
prevent potential ne gative consequences for
the environment a nd human health.
Your product contains bat teries covered by
the European Dire ctive 2006/66/EC , which
cannot be disposed wi th normal household
waste.
Please inform your self about the local r ules
on separate collection of batteries because
correct dispos al helps to prevent negati ve
consequences for the e nvironmental and
human health.
Risk of injury, fire or power cord dama ge!
Never place the TV or any ob jects on the
power cord.
To disconnect the TV power cor d easily
from the power outlet , ensure that you
have full access to the power cord a t all
times.
When you disconnect t he power cord,
always pull the plug, ne ver the cable.
Disconnect the T V from the power
outlet and antenna b efore lightning
storms. Dur ing lightning storms, n ever
touch any part of the T V, power cord or
antenna cable.
Risk of hearing damage!
Avoid using earphones or headphones at
high volumes or for prolo nged periods of
time.
Low temperatures
If the TV is trans ported in temper atures
below 5°C, unpack the T V and wait
until the TV tempe rature matches room
temperature b efore connecting the T V to
the power outlet.
Screen care
Avoid stationary images as much as
possible. Stationary images are images
that remain on-screen for extended
periods of time. E xamples include:
on-screen menus , black bars and time
displays. If you must u se stationary
images, reduce scr een contrast and
brightness to avoid screen damage.
Unplug the TV befor e cleaning.
Clean the TV and fr ame with a soft,
damp cloth. Never use substances such as
alcohol, chemicals o r household cleaners
on the TV.
Risk of damage to the T V screen! Never
touch, push, rub or s trike the screen wi th
any object.
To avoid deformations and colour f ading,
wipe off water drop s as soon as possible.
