Access CAM services

1 After inser ting and activating th e CAM,
press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Common interface].
Applications provided by the digital TV »
service operator appear on the screen.
Note
This menu option is av ailable only if the C AM •
is inserted an d activated corr ectly.
Use a Conditional Access Module
A Conditional Access Module (CAM) is
provided by digital TV service operators to
decode digital TV channels.
Note
Refer to the documen tation from your se rvice •
operator on how to in sert a smar t card into
the Conditional Access Module.

Insert and activate a CAM

Caution
Be sure to follow the i nstructions d escribed •
below. Wrong inser tion of a CAM may
damage both the CA M and your TV.
1 Switch off the TV an d disconnect it from
the power outlet.
2 Following the direc tions printed on the
CAM, gently inse rt the CAM into the
COMMON INTERFACE at the sid e of
the TV.
3 Push the CAM in as far a s it will go.
4 Reconnect the TV t o the power outlet.
5 Turn on the TV and wait for t he CAM
to be activated. Th is may take several
minutes. Do not rem ove the CAM from
the slot when in use — re moving the
CAM will deactivate digital services.
