When stand mo unting the TV, use only
the supplied st and. Secure the stan d to
the TV tightly. Place t he TV on a flat, level
surface that c an support the comb ined
weight of the TV and t he stand.
When wall mounti ng the TV, use only a
wall mount that can su pport the weight of
the TV. Secure the wa ll mount to a wall
that can suppor t the combined weight of

Follow these preca utions to prevent the
TV from topplin g over and causing injury to
children:
Never place the TV on a s urface covered
by a cloth or other mater ial that can be
pulled away.
Ensure that no par t of the TV hangs over
the edge of the sur face.
Never place the TV on t all furniture (such
as a bookcase) witho ut anchoring both
the furnitur e and TV to the wall or a
suitable support.
Educate childre n about the dangers of
climbing on furn iture to reach the TV.
Risk of overheating!
Never install t he TV in a confined space.
Always leave a space of at lea st 4 inches
or 10 cm around the TV for ve ntilation.
Ensure curtains or other objects never
cover the ventilation s lots on the TV.
Risk of damage to the T V!
Before you connec t the TV to the power
outlet, ensur e that the power voltage
matches the value p rinted on the back
of the TV. Never connec t the TV to the
power outlet if the vol tage is different.

Never expose the T V to rain or water.
Never place liquid cont ainers, such as
vases, near th e TV. If liquids are spilt on
or into the TV, disconne ct the TV from
the power outlet imm ediately. Contact
Philips Consumer C are to have the TV
checked before use.
Never place the TV, rem ote control or
batteries near naked flames or other heat
sources, including direct sunlight.
To prevent the spread of fire , keep
candles or other fla mes away from the
TV, remote control a nd batteries at all
times.
Never insert ob jects into the ventilatio n
slots or other ope nings on the TV.
When the TV is s wivelled ensure that
no strain is exer ted on the power cord.
Strain on the power cor d can loosen
connections an d cause arcing.
Risk of short circuit or fir e!
Never expose the re mote control or
batteries to r ain, water or excessive h eat.
Avoid force coming onto power p lugs.
Loose power plugs can caus e arcing or
