Select speaker ou tput with Adjust menu
If [EasyLink] or [EasyLink autostart] are
selected, acce ss the adjust menu to sw itch the
TV audio.
1 While you watch T V, press ADJUST.
2 Select [Speaker], then press OK.
3 Select one of th e following, then press
OK:
[TV]: On by default. Str eam TV
audio through T V and the connected
HDMI-C EC audio device until the
connected dev ice switches to syste m
audio control. TV audio is then
streamed t hrough the connecte d
device.
: Stream aud io through
the connecte d HDMI-CEC device .
If system aud io mode is not enabled
on the device, au dio continue to
stream fro m the TV speakers. If
[EasyLink autostart] was enabled,
the TV promp ts the connected
device to switch t o system audio
mode.
Maximise display for subtitled video
Some subtitl es can create a separate s ubtitle
bar under the vid eo, which limits the vid eo
display area. A fter you switch on auto s ubtitle
shift, the s ubtitles display over the vi deo
image, which ma ximises the video displ ay area.
1 Press .
2 Select [Setup] > [TV settings] >
[EasyLink] > [Auto subtitle shif t] > [On],
then press OK.
Set TV speakers to EasyLink mode
If you connect an H DMI-CEC complia nt
device that includ es speakers, you can choo se
to hear the TV fr om those speakers ins tead of
the TV speaker s.
When you play conten t from an EasyLink
compliant home th eatre, if you want to
mute the TV sp eakers automaticall y, turn on
EasyLink mode.
If the connect ed device is HDMI Audio Retu rn
Channel (ARC) comp liant, and you connect
the device thro ugh an HDMI ARC connec tor,
you can output T V audio through the HD MI
cable. You do not need an additional audio
cable.
1 Make sure that the EasyLink-compliant
device is connec ted through an HDMI
ARC connector (see ‘Back connections’
on page 34).
2 Select [Setup] > [TV settings] >
[EasyLink] > [TV speakers].
3 Select one of th e following, then press
OK.
[Off] : Switch off TV sp eakers.
[On]: Switch on TV s peakers.
[EasyLink]: Stream TV audi o
through the con nected HDMI- CEC
device. Switch t he TV audio to the
connected HDMI-CEC audio device
through the adj ust menu.
[EasyLink autostart]: Turn off TV
speakers aut omatically and strea ms
TV audio to the co nnected HDMI-
CEC audio device .
Note
To mute the TV speaker s, select [TV
speakers] > [Off].
