Surround Modes

Selecteer een van de Surround modes, afhankelijk van uw persoonlijke voorkeur en het uitgezonden geluidssignaal.

Stereo

Bij deze geluidskeuze worden alleen geluidssignalen door de linker en de rechter luidsprekers vooraan gezonden.

Dolby 3 Stereo

(optimaal met Dolby Surround uitzending)

De Dolby Pro Logic* geluiden worden verdeeld over de luidsprekers links en rechts vooraan en de centrale

luidspreker.

Hall

Het speciale geluidssignaal wordt via de luidsprekers achteraan verdeeld, waardoor een hal-effect van achteraan gecreëerd wordt. Uit de centrale luidspreker komt geen geluid.

Dolby Pro Logic II

(optimaal met Dolby Surround uitzending)

Alle luidsprekers vooraan en achteraan geven het Dolby Surround Pro Logic II geluid weer. Dit geluid is altijd aanwezig als een film of een programma gemarkeerd is met

GDolby Surround.

Opmerking:

•Normale stereo uitzendingen zijn niet altijd gecodeerd om een surround geluid achteraan weer te geven.

•Indien een Cinema Link configuratie is aangesloten, kunnen de surround modes van de ontvanger worden geselecteerd.

Dolby Digital

Als u een DVD-speler of een Laser disc-speler hebt aangesloten (zie Rand- apparatuur aansluiten, p. 27), kunt u thuis van meerkanaals surroundgeluid genieten wanneer u disks afspeelt die werden opgenomen in Dolby Digital. Niet alleen de centrale, linkse en rechtse interne luidsprekers, maar ook de surround luidsprekers links en rechts achteraan geven Dolby Digital Surround geluid weer.

Ontvangst van Dolby Digital-geluid via de i-toets

Druk op de i-toets.

Wanneer Dolby Digital-geluid gereproduceerd wordt, toont de geluidsinformatie op het scherm het aantal luidsprekersignalen die overgebracht worden.

Dit wordt aangeduid door middel van 2 cijfers: het eerste cijfer geeft het aantal signalen van de luidsprekers vooraan weer, het tweede cijfer geeft het aantal signalen van de luidsprekers achteraan weer.

Bijv. ‘Dolby Digital 3/2’ betekent dat 3 signalen vooraan: links, rechts en centraal, en 2 signalen achteraan: links en rechts surround, overgebracht worden.

‘Dolby Digital 1/0’ betekent dat een monosignaal overgebracht wordt.

‘Dolby Digital 2/0’,‘MPEG’ of ‘PCM’ betekent dat de transmissie een stereosignaal bevat, dat Dolby Surround gecodeerd kan zijn.

In dat geval zal de surround mode Dolby Pro Logic II tonen.
