movies.
•[Animatio n] – Contrast co lor setting. Ide al for

[Black Level]
Improve black colo r contrast.
•[Normal] - Standard bla ck level.
•[Enhanced] - Enhance black leve l.
[Subtitle]
Select a subtitle language for disc play.
[Disc Menu]
Select a langu age for disc menu.
Note
If the language y ou have set is not avai lable on the disc , •
the disc uses it s own default la nguage.
For some discs , the subtitle /audio langua ge can only be

changed from th e disc menu.
[TV Display]
Select a displ ay format:
•[4:3 Lett erbox] – For 4:3 scr een TV: wide-
screen display w ith black bars on th e top and
bottom of the scr een.
•[4:3 Pans can] – For 4:3 scree n TV: full-heigh t
display with th e trimmed sides .
•[16:9 Widescreen] – For wid e-screen TV:
display ratio 16:9.
[Cinema 21:9]• – For wide-screen TV of display
ratio 21:9, remove black bars at the bottom and
top of the screen.
Note
If •[4:3 Pansca n] you have selec ted is not suppor ted
by the disc, the sc reen displays i n the [4:3 Letterbox]
format.
Help text dis play will be avail able in all mode s, except

Subtitle Shi ft functi on is enabled onl y in
